Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and assist in creating a positive dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional customer service will be key to your success in this position.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize restaurant flow.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
- Communicate with the kitchen staff regarding guest needs and special requests.
- Assist with guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with servers and other staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for managing reservations and guest information.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest services.
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Proficient in using POS systems; familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
