WHO WE ARE
For over 25 years, Signal has been managing and expanding substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery services in northeast Colorado, metro Denver, Boulder, and Southeastern Colorado, including the San Luis Valley. Signal's mission is to transform lives and communities by delivering high-quality and innovative professional services to behavioral health providers.
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing behavioral health services for youth, adults and families across Colorado. We manage mental health and substance use prevention, treatment and recovery services that are accessible, affordable, and efficacious for consumers of these services. Through effective management and coordination of services, Signal aims to increase efficiencies across substance abuse disorder service systems, to strengthen linkages between human services systems and providers, and to more closely tailor services to the needs and strengths of consumers.
We also support Coloradoans through crisis services and crisis adjacent services for youth and families. Our youth and family service team helps to provide timely access to comprehensive clinical assessment and service linkage for youth with high acuity mental health needs.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
An individual who is dedicated to assuring a strong operational department to support Signal’s internal systems and external partners. We are looking for a detailed individual who can work closely with the Operations team to support initiatives, special projects and documentation and coordination between the multiple facets of the team.
A day-in-the life as our Associate Director of Operations may include:
Working closely with the VP of Operations and Compliance to support implementation of strategies. Working on Standard Operating Procedure documentation with the Operations team. Reviewing and developing materials produced by the Operations team.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- Experience in writing professional documents
- Experience in writing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures
- Strong fiscal background and experience
- 5 plus years’ experience in supporting a multi-dimensional team
- Basic knowledge of the Colorado behavioral health system of care
- Knowledge and use of effective written and oral communications etiquette for dealing effectively with current and potential providers
- Detail- and Goal- oriented
- Experience in internal and external communications and partnership building written and verbal
- Demonstrated excellent customer relations skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, Excel and Power Point)
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently, and research solutions with minimal direction.
- Ability to pass background check.
- Salesforce or contracting software experience a plus

Signal serves as one of three Managed Services Organizations designated by the Colorado Behavioral Health Administration to manage and monitor substance abuse treatment services for adults and adolescents who are uninsured or under-insured in our state. We also work as one of the state’s Administrative Services Organizations, managing and expanding community-based crisis services for the Denver/Boulder metropolitan area and serving as a liaison for families and children who need access to behavioral services through the Children and Youth Mental Health Treatment Act.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
