Compensation:

Job Overview: We are seeking motivated and experienced Fiber Technicians for new underground installations in single-family, multi-family, and multi-dwelling units. Responsibilities:
- Plan and Prepare Underground Routes: Identify and map existing underground infrastructure, ensuring avoidance of other utilities (water, gas, electricity).
- Fiber Optic Cable Installation: Install and pull fiber optic cables through underground conduits, ensuring proper placement and alignment according to project specifications.
- Splicing: Perform fusion splicing to ensure high-quality fiber connections.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Use power meters and other testing equipment to verify installation quality and resolve any issues.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of installations, including splice locations and test results for future reference.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations, especially in confined spaces and around other utilities. Follow all company protocols and standards.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Experience using hand tools and handheld mobile devices.
- Skills: Effective communication and outstanding customer service.
- Abilities: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound decision-making skills.
- Travel: Daily travel required; must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
