What you should know about the Bank Operations Associate l (ACH) role:
The Bank Operations Associate l provides ACH support to Client Services and the Financial Centers, conducts initial investigation for ACH fraud claims, contacts ODFI to retrieve funds for untimely returns, processes ODFI request for proof of authorization, processes REG E returns, processes returns for fraud/unauthorized, enters G/L entries, and researches suspended items.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Provides ACH support to Client Service and the Financial Centers
• Conducts initial investigation and ACH fraud claims
• Process Reg E Claims
• Performs general ledger proof for department
• Handles ACH inquiries
• Process reclamation claims/proof of auth.

To be successful, your background should match these qualifications:

• One year minimum experience in bank operations
  
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Regulation E and FRB guidelines knowledge or ATM and ACH proof settlement experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of NACHA rules and return codes preferred.
• Familiarity with imaging and signature verification system such as OTG is preferred.
• Familiarity with mainframe applications is preferred.
• Must have solid communication and organization skills.
• Must be willing to cross train in other department functions to be able to provide coverage as necessary.
• Must be organized and able to perform within a high volume area
• Must be discrete and professional

Compensation:
Flagstar Bank, N.A. offers a base salary in this position with a range of $22.93 - $29.35, dependent on qualifications and experience.
