Job Description :
A Merchandising Coordinator at SPG is responsible for supporting many facets of planning and coordination. They ensure deliverables, deadlines, and processes are met and work functionally between many different teams, vendors, and retail partners. Supporting the Merchandising Manager, they bring their experience and passion for consumer products and merchandising to key processes such as : Planograms and Product Assortments as well as Display Specifications. The Merchandising Coordinator helps build the groundwork for retail sales.
They work closely with Trade Marketing, Designers, Product Developers, as well as the Sales and Operations Teams. They reporting to the Merchandising Manager, Director of Marketing, and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.
Job Responsibilities / Duties / Functions :
- Work with current and new vendors in fixture creation along with maintaining item status for fixtures.
- Assist in finding new vendors and onboarding them.
- Build merchandising program proposal briefs.
- Work alongside our warehouse regarding, fixture replacement parts, quality control, special requests and tagging existing inventory.
- Coordinate and approve UPC & carton labels for all fixtures.
- Track and manage fixture inventory levels, coordinate with the Sales & Ops team to determine needs.
- Identify and maintain lead times, MOQs and pricing.
- Respond to customer & Sales inquiries regarding replacement parts, fixture questions and graphics.
- Streamline shipping strategies, logistics, pallet optimization and packaging improvements.
- Assist in planogram creation, and coordinate communication from the sales team and business intelligence.
- Help maintain the Showroom, keeping fixture inventory up to date.
- Support Events & Tradeshows by compiling product and fixture packing lists, collaborating with warehouses and vendors to ensure hand off and set up at shows.
- Provide direction and coordinate graphics for displays and trade shows
- Manage fixture signage & equipment inventory and monitor for condition and re-print.
- Submit sample orders to support marketing and merchandising needs.
- Assist in Product sample warehouse inventory and work closely with Events and Sales to establish product needs and quantities.
- Organize and support proper processes between aspects of Trade Marketing, Design, and Sales.
- Check and Ensure Product Dimensions and Data is captured correctly for Merchandising needs.
- Build and Track Trade Marketing Projects & Timelines to ensure delivery of all pieces from all parties.
