Summary:
Assists all production, repair, and administrative personnel; ensure supplies/raw materials/products are on hand for business operations. Maintains a high level of efficiency in day-to-day operations and ensures the highest level of customer service and quality are being met.
Education/Experience
One to two years of experience working in a stockroom, inventory position and purchasing preferred. Must have excellent computer skills, able to safely operate fork lift and various equipment for loading/unloading of stock.
Certificates And Licenses
Valid Michigan driver's license; ability to obtain fork lift permit

Requirements
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Proficient computer knowledge including Excel, UPS World Ship, SAP, Outlook, MS Teams, etc
- Receive and check-in all daily shipments (physically, on invoice, and in computer)
- Stocking of shelves and stock rotation
- Indoor and Outdoor stock management
- Pull inventory for assembly builds/cart builds
- Bin location management
- Inventory location transfers; Pull transfers for other locations
- Pull inventory for sales orders and package for shipping
- Answering incoming phone calls to Parts Dept.
- Taking customer orders over phone, in person, or via email
- Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs
- Ordering inventory from vendors/suppliers, verifying price, and securing shipment arrival times
- Assembling of control valves
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment; assist with shop cleaning, emptying of trash cans, yard cleanliness, etc.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform daily inventory/stock procedures
- Mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong problem solving and documentation skills
- Participation in annual fiscal-year inventory process

- Able to order the correct amount of inventory to cover demand without leaving behind wasted goods and/or spotting patterns for more frequent re-orders or noting which sit on shelves for a long period of time.
- Possess strong time management skills; i.e. able to keep track of multiple priorities at once

- Ability to interact with diverse set of employees/customers/vendors in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
