About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to join our Signatures Apparel team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing facility and be able to effectively manage a team of up to 18 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and Development of Production Personnel
- Recruit, interview, and hire production staff for pre-approved roles.
- Conduct bi-weekly 1-1 meetings with the Shop Foreman and Graphic Artist, and small group meetings with all other production staff.
- Measure, Monitor, and Enhance Production Floor Performance Output
- Update production metrics, including decorations, missed shipments, machine output, scrap/yield, etc.
- Maintain documented standard operating procedures for shipping, receiving, and embroidery/print order processing.
- Leadership Liaison and Strategic Goal Implementation
- Report floor capacity to leadership and project overtime costs.
- Presents project proposals for efficiency enhancements and communicates across departments.
- Other Duties
- Perform a quarterly inventory audit and store audit records.
- Complete monthly inventory and maintain records of historical inventory counts in requested format.
