The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and troubleshooting the Vena platform, an enterprise performance management and financial planning software. The role involves helping users navigate the software, ensuring smooth operation, and resolving any issues related to the platform..
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Technical Support and Issue Resolution
- Provide first-line support for Vena-related issues, ensuring timely resolution of technical and user-related problems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, performance issues, and data discrepancies in Vena.
- Respond to user inquiries, offering guidance on system navigation, report generation, and data input.
System Maintenance and Configuration
- Assist in the configuration and customization of Vena to meet business requirements, including setting up new models, reports, and templates.
- Perform regular system checks to ensure Vena is functioning optimally.
- Monitor system performance, manage system updates, and apply patches or upgrades as needed.
Data Management and Integration
- Manage data imports and exports between Vena and other financial systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all financial reports and processes.
- Support financial teams in managing and organizing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning data within Vena.
Reporting and Analytics Support
- Design and code new reports from scratch, ensuring accurate data extraction, formatting, and presentation to meet business requirements.
- Assist users in building and generating financial reports, dashboards, and analytics within Vena.
- Troubleshoot any inconsistencies or errors in reporting, ensuring data accuracy.
- Help users interpret and utilize the data generated by Vena to support business decisions.
User Training and Documentation
- Provide training and guidance to users on best practices for using Vena.
- Develop and maintain user manuals, knowledge base articles, and FAQs to support end users.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to onboard new users and introduce new Vena features.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
TALENTS
- 5 years of experience in application support, preferably with experience in Vena or similar enterprise performance management software.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, coordinating, and overseeing the successful implementation of software applications.
- Proficiency in Vena, Excel, and other financial systems or ERP platforms.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across various teams.
