We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. This role will play a key part in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement, ensuring accuracy and integrity in our financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and variance analysis to ensure financial accuracy.
Maintain the fixed asset register, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditures tracking.
Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and regulatory compliance.
Identify and implement efficiency improvements in accounting processes and systems.
Work with payroll processing, tax reporting, and regulatory filings as needed.
Partner with finance, operations, and leadership to support financial planning and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and tax regulations.
Experience with QuickBooks.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
