This position will play a pivotal role in optimizing production, scaling output, and ensuring operational excellence in a high-volume, fast paced environment. This role is responsible for establishing manufacturing strategies, building strong relationships with cross-functional partners, and cultivating a culture aligned with our core values and guiding principles.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operations Management
- Develop and execute manufacturing operations strategies aligned with the business objectives
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma
- Ensure operations are in place and functioning to meet the demand of our customers in the most cost-efficient, high-quality manner.
- Develop the manufacturing plan and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure products conform to established customer and company quality standards
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company
- Create production tracking, quality control systems, analyze production plans to determine problems, and suggest processing and staffing changes.
- Set up policies in material usage, capacity planning, and production methods to enhance operational efficiency
- Build scalable systems and processes to support production and business growth
- Improve operational efficiency through equipment, training, and process optimization
- Drive lead-time initiatives partnered with Product Groups, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics and Materials organizations
- Deliver targeted results in support of customer requirements for delivery, lead-time, responsiveness & quality
- Validate existing business processes and accountability systems
- Develop new business processes and supporting systems to support Silfex/Lam’s ability to quickly deliver world class solutions to our customers
- Initiates and coordinates major projects (e.g., plant layout changes, installation of capital equipment, major repairs, start-up new plant operations as we grow, etc.).
- Represent the manufacturing organization in stakeholder meetings, internal leadership forums, and public events - communicating complex manufacturing concepts in a clear and influential manner
- Develop and deliver executive level communications, presentations, and reports that effectively convey complex manufacturing strategies, operational performance, and business insights
- Synthesize data and analysis into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for senior leaders and key stakeholders
- Serve as a key spokesperson for manufacturing initiatives and operational strategies for internal and external events
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across multiple manufacturing sites
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Drive change management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and employee engagement
- Design and build organizational structures which provide growth opportunities, cross-training, and avenues of succession
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and capital expenditures to drive profitability
- Develop and track key performance indictors (KPIs) for productivity, quality, and safety
- Collaborate with finance and executive leadership to optimize cost structures and investments
- Ability to create the operational structure required for the company to achieve sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives
- Set up cost control standards, waste reduction, and production processes to maximize manufacturing objectives
- Display a positive attitude and strong work ethic that reflects the Mission and Core Values of Silfex.
- Create and maintain a culture where workplace safety is part of everything we do. Provide the safest possible workplace to our employees by modeling and following all company safety policies, reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to Silfex management. Wear all PPE as required by work area or job function.
- Communication – Begin with the end in mind – Communicate boldly as well as effectively with empathy and respect to inspire teamwork and collaboration vertically and horizontally within Silfex.
- Assist in applying lean manufacturing concepts and 5S. Demonstrate ownership of continuous improvement ideas and activities. Maintain organization and cleanliness, housekeeping and 5S within work area. Maintain these areas at the highest degree possible while responsibly escalating any maintenance issues.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, Operations Management or a related field.
- 15 years of relevant experience, a portion of which spent in an Operations, Supply Chain or equivalent leadership role
- Proven ability to lead large teams and drive strategic initiatives
- Strong public speaking, executive presence, and communication skills
- Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence
- Experience managing multi-site operations
- Strong business acumen, consulting, analysis, communication, presentation, negotiation, influencing, conflict management, and problem-solving skills
- Technical proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint to support and deliver comprehensive analysis and concise communications
- The ability to operate in ambiguous situations and be flexible as the organization changes and grows
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- MBA or graduate degree in related field
- Five years in an executive role
