- What you'll do:
- Daily invoicing of closure shipments, create manual invoices for sale of scrap metal and miscellaneous shipments
- Daily production – review production work orders, research and correct production reporting issues and inventory discrepancies and correct. Also, close production orders and process production reports
- Monthly inventories – Assist with monthly inventory, prepare and reconcile WIP and raw material inventory, verify the inventory counts and enter into E1 and process inventory reports
- Month end close – Generate journals with required documentation and enter into E1, assist in General Ledger account reconciliation, assist in closing the General Ledger and assist in generating the monthly statements and reports
- Process correct coding or accounts payable and purchase orders to ensure payments to correct vendors are changed to the correct general ledger accounts
- Obtain proper signatures and approval for invoices and enter invoices for payment

- What you'll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- **Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in manufacturing, required **
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Additional manufacturing accounting experience, including experience with forecasting, budgeting and account analysis
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills
