- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues to keep production running smoothly.
- Performing regular maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Repairing or replacing parts to keep equipment in top shape.
- Operate, adjust, and maintain slitter and feeder machinery to ensure consistent production of high-quality body blanks.
- Perform routine maintenance, part replacements, and machine changeovers using precision tools to meet size and schedule requirements.
- Monitor and inspect materials and finished products for quality, recording production and scrap data accurately.
- Load raw materials into the can line, observe machine performance, and take corrective action or escalate as needed to maintain smooth operations.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalency
- Experience using precision tools and standard hand and power tools commonly found in manufacturing.
- The ability to safely operate and maintain equipment in a variety of industrial conditions, including around moving parts, electrical currents, heat, and chemicals.
