Our client, a well-established law firm with multiple locations throughout the United States, is currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Technology Companies Group in one of our growing San Francisco Bay Area offices. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside top-tier legal professionals supporting some of the most innovative companies in the tech space.
Please note that job hoppers will NOT be considered for this role. You should have a consistent work history with 3 years in your current/previous positions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and file legal documents with accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant data to support attorneys
- Maintain and manage case files, ensuring they are accurate, organized, and current
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties
- Provide day-to-day administrative and project-based support to attorneys
Requirements:
- 3 years of paralegal experience, ideally in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Current or previous experience with law firms focusing on emerging technologies is preferred.
- Solid understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
- Strong research and legal writing skills
- High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a mid-size law firm is preferred (25-350 employees)
- Clear and professional communication style
- Proactive team player who can also work independently
- Background or interest in technology companies and related legal matters is a plus
- Bachelors degree and/or Paralegal certification required
