Description :
Primary responsibilities of the full-time role will interact with assigned customers by managing customer orders, addressing customer inquiries and handling customer concerns. This position assists in managing inventory and maintaining various company reports. You will communicate and coordinate daily with internal departments including Sales, Operations, Purchasing and Accounting.
Requirements :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Follow orders and requests for all assigned customers, both to Caledonia & Italy production sites
- Update price lists in ERP as new ones are issued & changed
- Check customer specifications together with Sales & Operations upon entering order(s); analyze RM need or width, silicone, packaging
- Participate in VMI (vendor managed inventory) analysis and enter orders accordingly to production
- Check order delays and communicate to customer and Account Representative if needed
- Analyze and expedite deliveries to customers if required
- Verify order quantities with production and notify customer(s) if changes are required
- Organize new product requests with Sales, Process Engineer and Operations
- Organize and ship samples to customers upon request
- Inform purchasing of forecasts received by customer, in collaboration with Sales to plan raw material purchases
- Analyze inventory to avoid aged customer inventory
- Send certificates of analysis ahead of shipments
- Follow up on visit report action items internally
- Provide all details to accounting for RMA’s & credit memos
