Area Sales Manager
A leading homebuilder is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales performance, mentor a high-performing team, and enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years in residential sales, management, or real estate
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and auto insurance
Strong verbal / written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confrontational situations professionally
Must be able to work in a construction environment, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb ladders / stairs, and lift / carry up to 50 lbs.
Occasional operation of construction equipment may be required
Proficiency in using a computer keyboard and calculator
Responsibilities :
Manage sales performance, margin enhancement, and sales team development
Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team
Collaborate with division leadership to meet sales goals
Support the Director of Sales and Marketing with sales initiatives
Implement training programs and sales strategies
Guide New Home Consultants on techniques to improve performance and customer satisfaction
Ensure smooth coordination between sales and operations teams for timely closings
Track escrows, generate sales reports, and ensure compliance with regulations
Review paperwork for accuracy and coordinate with escrow and mortgage partners
Attend promotional events, conduct sales meetings, and communicate key updates to leadership
Regular, in-person attendance at communities / job sites and offices during business hours is required
Compensation & Benefits :
Base salary range : $75,000 - $130,000
Eligibility for bonuses and commissions
