Summary :
The Manufacturing Supervisor provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship within GracoRoberts' production and manufacturing environment. Responsibilities for this role may include direct supervision of scheduling, planning, labeling, formulation, repackaging, and / or inventory control personnel. As a functional leader, the Manufacturing Supervisor is critical to the near-term effectiveness and success of the department. This role coordinates and supports key and foundational steps within the manufacturing process. Both aspects directly affect the ability to meet the company's manufacturing business plan.
What You Will Do Everyday :
- Direct supervisory responsibility for front-line elements within and supporting the production environment. These roles could include, but not limited to, Operations Clerks, Manufacturing Clerks, and / or Manufacturing Planners.
- Ensure the production environment complies with all environmental and regulatory requirements across all levels of government (Federal, State, Local).
- Supervising the production, formulation, and / or repackaging of material within the production area.
- Maintain, support, and ensure effectiveness of the staff. Engage in mentoring, coaching, and supporting direct reports for their current and further development
- Maintain adherence to Quality Management System requirements for the team including the development, coordination, review, and approval of Procedures, Work Instructions, Training Documents, and other quality documentation.
