Summary
As a Personal Care Aide at Silver Care LLC, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with daily activities and personal care needs. This position is essential in delivering our mission of providing trustworthy and compassionate care, ensuring that our clients feel valued and respected.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean living environment.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the supervisor.
- Support clients with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in social activities that promote mental stimulation and well-being.
Qualifications
- Experience in personal care or caregiving roles, particularly with seniors.
- Knowledge of dementia and memory care practices is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others.
- Ability to assist clients with daily living activities effectively.
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to client confidentiality.
- Basic cleaning skills for maintaining a safe environment for clients.
