Summary
As a Personal Care Aide at Silver Care LLC, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized support and assistance. This position is essential in ensuring that our clients receive compassionate care tailored to their individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to client dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Support memory care by assisting clients with cognitive exercises and reminders.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy.
- Assist with mobility and lifting as needed, ensuring client safety at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or caregiving is preferred.
- Knowledge of meal preparation and dietary considerations for seniors.
- Familiarity with memory care techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and families.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely as required.
- CPR certification is desirable but not mandatory.
