Hotel Front Desk Agent

SILVER CLOUD HOTEL – UNIVERSITY DISTRICT location is looking for a talented, passionate and team building hospitality professional to fill our Front Desk Agent position. An exciting environment in the heart of the bustling University of Washington main campus, and two blocks from the upscale University Village featuring great restaurants and unique shops. The hotel features 179 guest rooms and suites, with over 1,200 sq/ft of meeting space, along with great tastes and spirits at our AG47 Bar and Bistro.

POSITION PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming our guests, answering phones, check in or check out, and assisting with reservations. The Front Desk Agent works closely with other departments and others in their department, as a team, on the delivery of an elevated guest experience.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in hotel front office operations preferred

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to adapt to changing business demands

Possess a gracious, friendly and fun demeanor

Excellent communication skills

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or its equivalent.

COMPENSATION

Starting wage is $21.50. Wage Range is $21.50 - $23.25 per hour and is based on tenure, applicable experience and work history.
