Position Summary : Responsible for supporting the nurse manager in administrative duties of the unit during the PM (evening) shift. The Clinical Supervisor will provide leadership by collaborating with members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Able to provide patient care when needed, remains competent in clinical skills. Acts as a liaison between frontline staff, physicians and administration. promotes a team-based mode. Maintains the standards of professional nursing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Demonstrates open, honest, respectful communications in all interactions
- Demonstrates leadership ability by fostering commitment, inspiring trust and acting as a role model
- Assist and provide direct patient care as needed including triage assessments, treatments, admits, discharges, Procedures, etc.)
- Coordinate patient flow and bed management to minimize wait times and optimize resource utilization
- Ensures and Authorized to fill schedule needs, changes and updates as the schedule and acuity demands, using established staffing patterns.
- Assist in inventory control, including medical supplies, medications and equipment readiness.
- Mentor, train and evaluate nursing and clinical staff to enhance skills and performance.
- Address staff concerns and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Invests in human resources by development of a competent and customer focused work force.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives, including clinical outcomes, chart audits and patient and employee satisfaction.
- Participates in developing and implementing quality improvement standards
- Supports the Mission, Vision and Core Values and 7 Behaviors
- Assists in development and monitoring of unit budget
- Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits
- Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct
Work Shift Details :
Nights -12 Hours, Homer Glen Emergency Department full time RN 7p-7a every other weekend and holidays

The expected pay for this position is listed below :
35.00 - $42.50
The final offered salary will take several factors into consideration, including but not limited to : licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
Salary : $35 - $43
