White Water - Food, Team Member II (Seasonal, 2025)

Job Summary:

The Food Team Member II is responsible for preparing, cooking, and tracking product usage to help inform team leads and supervisors in making purchasing and service impacting decisions

This position starts 04/12/2025 and ends 09/01/2025.

Must be at least 16 years of age

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and take guest product orders.
• Make customers feel welcome and appreciated.
• Maintain a themed environment.
• Prepare and cook food product.
• Handle cash and make change while operating Point of Sale registers.
• Properly handle customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards.
• Maintain a safe food environment and following safety procedures.
• Clean and bus tables as assigned.
• Utilize suggestive selling.
• Implement shop closing and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain positive, helpful relationships with teammates.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment as deemed necessary.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Able to complete an in-house ServSafe food training class. 

Education and Experience:

• Cash handling experience is preferred
• Experience working with high-volume food preferred.

• The ability to lift 20 pounds frequently to 60 pounds maximum

• The ability to remember locations, understand and carry out instructions continuously
• The ability to work at a rapid speed frequently

Work Environment:

A Food Team Member II works primarily indoors in a kitchen environment of the water park, with occasional outdoor tasks in food service stands, kiosks, and food delivery areas. The role involves exposure to various weather conditions, uneven terrain, and moderate to high noise levels, often working independently. Food Team Member IIs use a variety of tools including phones, radios, and cash registers to communicate and ensure quality guest experiences. Work includes collaboration with teams and mentors, with a focus on ensuring safety in the guest experience.
