Silver Dollar City - Activation Coordinator (Exempt, 2025)

Job Summary: The Activation Coordinator at Silver Dollar City Parks & Resorts will play a pivotal role in partnership initiatives for the company. This role will report to the Director of Sponsorships & Promotions and will assist in managing outside sponsor relationships while coordinating the execution of partner activations with internal teams and Herschend Property Support Center personnel. This person will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and reporting deliverables in a timely manner with a high degree of organizational efficiency. Duties will also include analyzing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sponsorship initiatives and making recommendations for optimization.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the execution of marketing activations for Silver Dollar City partners and sponsors across OMC properties and assets.
• Manage quality control for deliverables and collaborate with internal teams to optimize brand visibility and engagement.
• Implement project management processes and systems to ensure proof of performance and timely reporting.
• Track the overall performance of partnership campaigns, timelines, and target markets to support optimization.
• Analyze available guest data and metrics to identify opportunities that align with the company’s marketing initiatives
• Work with Director of Sponsorships & Promotions to identify sponsorable assets and develop sponsorship packages.
• Collaborate with creative teams to plan, schedule, and recap activations across various properties and platforms.
• Act as a liaison between the Silver Dollar City sponsorships team and Herschend Property Support Center, and as an advocate for sponsors when needed.
• Become a student of our industry and stay informed about trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities in sponsorship marketing.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, management, communications, or related field
• 1-2 years’ experience in organizational management and/or communications is a plus
• Experience in analyzing data to inform decisions and solve problems is a plus
• Experience in the theme park, hospitality and/or tourism industry is a plus
• Experience with common office software such as Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Superior organizational skills, and a passion for executing tasks to excellence.
• Great attention to detail
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and branding.
• Proven history of creative problem solving
• Ability to work closely with a team and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to work in varying conditions.
• Frequent communication, both in person and via phone.
• Physical demands include the ability to move around the worksite, including climbing stairs, bending, and lifting 5-20 pounds.
