Summary: Come and work for the 1880’s theme park Silver Dollar City. By working for the Homestead, you will portray an 1880’s Character role (Schoolmarm) supporting Oak Trail School #3.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned to assist the Attractions teams.
- Ability to create and consistently maintain an 1880’s one room schoolmarm character.
- Keep the school clean, to include desks, windows, floor sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Memorize scripted material and make scheduled classroom presentations relating to period history, items, and or events.
- Continually interact with guests at Oak Trail School #3, to include answering questions, giving information about the school, and 1880’s Ozark lifestyle.
- Collect, record, and deposit monies collected from school retail sales items.
- Safe use of oil lamps, to prevent employee or guest injury.
- Ability to work alone with little supervision.

- Stand: Uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt and concrete.
- Walk: Up/down steps, uneven and sloped surfaces, including to and from assigned employee parking and employees assigned work area.
- Climb: Up/down stairs/ladders, uneven and sloped surfaces. Be able to climb and descend steps on an employee shuttle bus based on parking assignment.
- Use fingers and hands to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Speak and hear clearly.
- See: Near/far, depth perception and color vision.
