- Interfaces with and services designated national/key accounts as follows:
- Sells in all new packages, brand introductions and ensures promotional/package offers are delivered and/or communicated to accounts.
- Informs account of local and national industry trends.
- Secures appropriate advertising for all packages on promotions.
- Secures the number one (1) dominant selling position in shelf space
- Communicates sales volume and execution level by store.
- Coordinates and communicates information on all sales and future promotional opportunities to Sales, Marketing and Inventory Management employees.
- Coordinates pre-printing and distribution of paper and permanent P.O.S. sold to National Accounts.
- Makes scheduled calls and/or ensures assigned employees make scheduled calls on accounts assigned to Director of Sales, Merchandising Manager, etc.
- Provides all reports required by management, i.e. Weekly Roll Over Packaging, AD Volume and Profitability Report, etc.
- Develops close personal/working relationships with all assigned accounts, by following Company marketing policies/practices as allowed by the T.A.B.C., to maximize all sales/marketing opportunities.
- Follows and strictly enforces Anheuser-Busch and Silver Eagle Beverages Code Date Policy.
- Adheres to all state and federal anti-trust legislations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Management or related field
- Minimum 3 years sales experience. Beverage industry sales or management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the effective management and motivation of assigned employees and in accomplishing goals and objectives.
- Must handle alcohol and work within TABC guidelines.
- Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus).
- Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to pass Drug Screen and a Physical Performance Exam (PPE).
- All weather conditions (indoor & outdoor) including high temperatures, cool/cold temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet and snow.
- Daylight, twilight, evening and dark lighting conditions.
- Noise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumes.
- Work hours will vary daily due to business needs.
