This program is perfect for CNAs dedicated to delivering outstanding care and willing to work weekend doubles, earning an enhanced pay rate.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, hygiene, and mobility.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to support resident care plans.
- Complete full 8-hour shifts to qualify for the increased rate.
- Adapt to unit assignments based on facility needs.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Valid CNA Certificate in New Jersey
- Commit to working double shifts every weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
- Pre-schedule one additional weekday with the staffing coordinator (optional).
- Maintain punctuality; lateness or call-outs will result in forfeiture of the weekend warrior rate.
- Adhere to policies on attendance as outlined in the employee handbook/union contract.
- Work required holiday shifts if they fall on a weekend, compensated at time-and-a-half plus the weekend warrior rate.
Additional Notes:
- Shifts outside the Weekend Warrior Program are paid at the standard CNA rate.
- Participation is subject to facility needs and availability of shifts.
