What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Silver Property Management Inc?
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Server is responsible for serving the members and guests in the dining areas. Servers are also responsible for back work required to maintain the dining experience, including cleaning, wrapping silverware, machine cleaning, etc.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES
Essential Job Duties:
- To take orders, serve members and guests in the dining areas drinks & food.
- To ensure an excellent member dining experience follow standards set forth by the dining manager, Executive Chef, and General manager.
- Stock server side stations with polished glasses, bread and butter plates, coffee saucers and coffee cups at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist with dish cleaning and stocking as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Walking standing for extended periods of time, up to 3 hours uninterrupted.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs alone or 50 lbs. assisted
Other Duties:
- Assist in maintaining a high level of customer service for our member and their guests.
- Assist in dishwashing and distribution of clean dishes if needed.
- Maintain safe and sanitary conditions in the work areas.
- Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress codes.
- Completes all assigned cleaning tasks.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned supervisor.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Works indoors, must be able to stand/walk for 100% of the work day; must be able to lift and carry up to 20lbs. independently; must be able to push and pull bus carts weighing up to 50lbs. independently; but be able to bend, stoop, reach and balance frequently throughout the work day. Must be able to see, hear and speak.
