Security Supervisor

Job Summary:

Silver Shield Inc. currently seeking a dedicated and experienced on-site security supervisor to join our team. The supervisor will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, scheduling and security supervisor experience

Shifts Available:

Full-Time:

Overnight nights 6p to 6a.

Pay:

$17-$18 per hr.

Duties:

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Ensuring site is covered on a nightly basis.
• Sending weekly schedules including timesheets to corporate office.
• Provide assistance and guidance to your employees to ensure we are following clients site expectations.
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular site inspections on nights you are not working to ensure coverages, and to ensure your employees are in full uniform.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Skills:

• Strong surveillance skills to effectively monitor premises using CCTV systems.
• Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, including arrest techniques and legal rights.
• CPR certification and first aid training to provide immediate medical assistance if needed.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to prevent theft or damage to property.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven work experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role preferred
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Experience:

• Security Guard: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Venice, FL 34285 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Venice, FL 34285: Relocate before starting work (Required)
