Silver Spring Financial is a small accounting firm located in the Rexburg, ID area. The Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of our office. This position will be responsible for ensuring the office runs smoothly, supporting our accounting and payroll staff, managing office supplies, and maintaining a professional and efficient office environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. They will need to manage multiple tasks and staff in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and curious attitude.
While prior experience with taxes, accounting, and payroll is not required, we need a candidate who is capable of and eager to understand these concepts. This role requires a solid understanding of these topics to effectively support our clients and our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing Office Operations: Manage office processes, maintain office supplies, and ensure the office environment is organized and conducive to a productive work atmosphere.
- Supervising Staff: Assist with onboarding new employees, help with training, and supervise administrative staff.
- Developing Client Relations: Greet clients and visitors in a professional manner and help arrange client meetings. Stay informed about each client's specific situation.
- Responding to Phone Calls & Emails: Handle phone calls and emails with a high level of professionalism, providing clear and courteous responses to clients.
- Answering Basic Payroll and Tax Questions: Provide accurate answers to basic payroll and tax-related questions from clients, consulting with team members as necessary.
- Ensuring Compliance and Security: Ensure that all office practices are in compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Handle confidential information securely and responsibly.
- Managing Vendors: Manage relationships with office service providers, including IT support, cleaners, and catering for office events.
- Assisting with Other Administrative Needs: Provide support with other administrative tasks as they arise.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in office management or a supervisory administrative role (preferably in a financial setting)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- QBO experience is a plus!

Position Details
- 40 hours/week in-office
- Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM with an hour lunch
- Saturdays & overtime required during tax season (Feb-Apr)
- Pay range of $22/hr - $30/hr depending on experience
