OSP Utility Technician Job Description:
">Silver Star Communications is seeking an experienced OSP Utility Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our underground facilities.
Key Duties:

- Perform locates and marks on underground utilities using specialized equipment. ">
- Collaborate with OSP Engineers and Mapping coordinators to plan and maintain cable infrastructure. ">
- Ensure compliance with state underground facilities damage prevention laws and regulations. ">
- Install and maintain bonding and grounding wires. ">
- Record and provide GPS data for locations of telephone/broadband facilities. ">
- Document cut cables for billing repairs and prepare damage reports. ">
- Actively participate in team environment that fosters forward thinking and innovation. ">
Qualifications:

- High School Diploma plus 2 years of experience preferred. ">
- Valid Wyoming or Idaho Driver's License required. ">
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ">
- Ability to obtain Locating Utility Certification. ">
