We are currently looking for a Buyer to join our team!
Your Role:
- Prepares and manages purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Expedite delivery of critical materials to meet fast turn-around deadlines.
- Collaborate with and assists project managers on material requests to meet time deadlines.
- Solicit and analyze quotes from current and new suppliers.
- Evaluate performance and areas of opportunity for implementation of cost savings and process improvements.
- Assist with inventory management as it relates to procurement activities.
- Proactively manage the status of items as they move through the procurement lifecycle and communicate them to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
You Bring:
- 1-2 years of procurement experience.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Fantastic interpersonal skills, and oral and written communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Extreme initiative and excellent follow-up.
- Able to perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties.
- Familiarity with project management is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
