Job Title: Human Resources Assistant
Company: Silver State Refrigeration & HVAC, LLC.
PAY RANGE: $18.00 - $20.00 PER HOUR, DOE
Silver State is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual for an entry-level position in our Human Resources Department. As an HR Assistant, you will support both the HR Director and HR Manager by handling administrative duties and assisting with a variety of HR functions.
The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks effectively, and maintain a high standard of confidentiality, attention to detail, and work ethic. Prior HR experience is a plus but not requiredwe are happy to train the right candidate.
Reports To: HR Manager & HR Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including tasks related to pre-employment, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Maintain and safeguard confidential employee information and records.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with HR colleagues, company leadership, and other team members.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including candidate pre-screening and interview scheduling.
- Prepare and submit reports on various HR activities.
- Stay current on HR trends and best practices to ensure the department remains up-to-date.
- Perform other duties as assigned by HR leadership.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate HR systems for payroll, onboarding, and benefits administration, as well as research labor laws across different states.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely.

- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting pay range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
