The role involves providing attentive care and fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for a child younger than a teenager. This is a live-out position requiring flexibility, discretion, and a proactive approach to childcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, age-appropriate care to the child, including educational support and developmental activities.
- Plan and implement engaging and stimulating activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Assist with homework and school projects as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child, ensuring dietary preferences and restrictions are met.
- Manage the child’s daily schedule, including school drop-offs, pickups, extracurricular activities, and appointments.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the child, including their bedroom, play areas, and belongings.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive relationship with the child.
