General Summary of Job Duties:

This position is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the Casino floor according to Company guidelines and standards.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton STYLE.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Cleans slot and gaming machines and maintains a clean gaming floor for guests.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, polishes floors, cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Cleans walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, vents and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Carry radio and respond promptly to requests.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
• Immediately reports items areas that require repair.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Assists with setting up tables and chairs in meeting rooms, as needed.
• Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
• Maintain an open line of communication with Supervisors and Management.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.
• Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
• Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
• Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills, Education & Other Requirements:

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• Minimum of six (6) months prior Custodian/Public Area Cleaning/Porter experience, required.

Physical Requirements of Job:
