POOL GENERAL MANAGER

Description

General Summary of Job Duties: Responsible for the receiving and storage operations for two warehouses. Possess a demonstrated experience in receiving and storage of product; maintain a valid Nevada driver’s license; periodically lift a maximum of 50 lbs., as required; ability to keep and maintain accurate records and work within the established Silverton systems for purchasing.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversees the general operations of two warehouses and its staff.
• Operate equipment within the safety requirements of Silverton.
• Recommend, develop, and maintain necessary control of assets.
• Staff, schedule, evaluate, train, develop, and monitor employee performance.
• Interview applicants for open positions, assign work, grant overtime and early outs, and discipline accordingly. Recommends wage increases and promotions.
• Promotes the maintenance and optimization of inventories within their control.
• Promotes the efficient functioning of the receiving, storage, and distribution operations by procuring and maintaining necessary tools and equipment.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Promotes and maintain a work environment that is clean, safe, and secure.
• Completes necessary paperwork and files accordingly.
• Adheres to all policies stated in the Silverton team member handbook.
• Hands-on position with the receiving team.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the direction of management.

• Regular attendance on all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
• Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.

Qualifications

Skills, Education & Other Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in receiving and storage.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license to meet Silverton Casino, LLC insurance requirements.
• Ability to lift material up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to keep accurate records and work within established system of controls.
• Demonstrated computer application skills.
• Demonstrated ability to operate relevant equipment.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature variances.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Demonstrated proven experience in management functions, including organizing, staffing, planning, and leadership.
