Description
General Summary of Job Duties
Responsible for the timely placement of purchase orders and delivery of products to meet our internal customer order requirements.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton STYLE.
- Check for proper identification of a guest appearing to be under the age of 30 years old.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
- Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
- Maintain an open line of communication with Managers.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.
- Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
- Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
- Arriving on-time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Ensures that vendors meet the established delivery date.
- Obtains competitive bids consistent with required quantity and quality.
- Obtains proper documentation for capital expenditures.
- Researches and approves price variances between purchase order and invoice.
- Obtains prices and samples from vendors.
- Coordinates presentations of new products with department heads.
- Resolving errors on purchase orders as required.
- Other job related duties assigned by the Director of Process Management.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to deal with a demanding environment.
- Type 40 wpm.
- 10 key by touch.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Minimum two years office experience and one-year purchasing experience.
- High School Diploma required.
- Post secondary courses in Purchasing preferred.
