Job Summary:

Simiron is a leading manufacturer of industrial floor coatings, and we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Fulfillment Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Fulfillment Associate is a part of the order picking team that ensures efficient, accurate, and timely processing of orders. This role involves working with a team of order pickers until their shift end, coordinating with other warehouse departments, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role may also involve helping the 2nd shift production and packaging teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picking and Processing:
• Oversee the accurate and efficient picking of orders from inventory.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, and labeled correctly.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve any issues related to order picking and processing.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for order fulfillment.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Report any inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
• Quality Control:
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and condition of picked orders.
• Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow safety protocols as set forth by your supervisor and maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in regular safety training and drills.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Customer Service:
• Accurately enter sales orders and returns into the software system for walk-in customers, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
• Handle customer transactions by processing payments through credit cards, checks, and cash, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Provide timely and accurate responses to customer questions, delivering exceptional service and support.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Liaise with the Warehouse Manager, Shift Supervisor, and other departments to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
• Maintain open and effective communication with team members and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills including business programs such as Outlook, Teams, ERP software experience (Business Central experience is a plus).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability/Certification to drive a forklift/hi-lo.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, etc.).

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM, with overtime and weekend hours as required.
