Director of Residential Hospice Services Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse with New York State Nursing License.
- BSN required. Master's in nursing or public health is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience in healthcare administration, ideally in a licensed nursing home or assisted living environment
Director of Residential Hospice Services Opportunity Job Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the hospice/nursing home program including budget and quality of care.
- Lead the preparation and submission of the hospice residence Certificate of Need (CON) and guide it through the NYSDOH approval process.
- Develop and maintain the policy and procedures, ensuring compliance with NYSDOH and JCAHO standards.
- Recruit, train, and supervise nursing staff, ensuring alignment with performance standards and organizational goals.
- Cultivate a positive work environment and promote professional development through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing training initiatives.
