Simkhai is seeking an experienced Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our Finance Department. This position will be critical in driving financial strategy, providing insights, and supporting decision-making processes across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the FP&A process in developing and implementing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business growth and profitability.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive operational efficiency and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of financial models to support long-term planning and scenario analysis. Support and build out strategic long-term plan.
- Lead development of process and controls to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
Qualifications
- Must have Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the Fashion industry
- Must have demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Must have demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting tools.
- Must have proficiency with Quickbooks, Shopify, and the Apparel Magic family of financial and accounting systems a strong plus.
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must have demonstrated proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
