Regional Roofing Service Manager

REGIONAL ROOFING SERVICE MANAGER 

We are looking for a Regional Service Manager who will manage the overall roofing service operations for the region which includes but it’s not limited to the  management of safety practices & protocols, employee retention, productivity, and quality of the region.  The successful candidate will carry out the management responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies, standards, procedures, and applicable laws. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

What you will do in this role:

• Reports directly to top management and directly manages and directs service operational staff.
• Assures that our Safety #1 core value is practiced on every aspect of the job.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling of all service techs in his/her respective region to ensure proper utilization of manpower on specific jobs for highest profitability.  Collaborate with other Field Supervisors as necessary.
• Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Oversee the Quality Control (QC) process of service techs in the region, which will include random site visits to previous and current job sites, proper documentation to ensure that all work was completed properly, safety standards and procedures are being followed and customer satisfaction.   
• Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
• Responsible for the overall operational key performance indicators, sales targets, and management reporting
• Responsible for the hiring, training counseling and discipline or direct reports.
• Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• Three or more (3 ) years of experience in low slope roofing systems or a related construction management area.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, or related field (Preferred but not required).
• Ability to travel 50% of the time throughout the assigned territory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Refined ability to delegate responsibilities and provide leadership and training to key personnel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Current and valid driver’s license to be able to be authorized to drive a company vehicle.

Physical Working Conditions:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time on a regular basis throughout the day.
• Must be able to frequently ascend/descend ladder up to 40 feet.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period.
• Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
• Must be able to work in varied extreme weather conditions (extreme hot and extreme cold weather).
