We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting and Consolidation Manager. The primary function will be to support the Corporate Controller through the various accounting/reporting functions, including month end close & consolidations, integrating acquisitions, enhancing internal controls, and other reporting requirements. In addition, we expect this individual to actively identify and lead various process improvement initiatives of the accounting function, as well as other ad-hoc accounting and finance projects across the enterprise. This role will seek to leverage automation, drive standardization, and create efficiency across all aspects of the accounting function while ensuring timely preparation of accurate financials remains a top priority.

Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the month-end close and consolidation process across all accounting functions, including local and international teams.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reporting requirements
- Manage and oversee delivery of audit requests in support of internal and external audits
- Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with appropriate US GAAP group standards and statutory/regulatory requirements as well as internal financial policies.
- Enhance and maintain policy documentation
- Support efforts to maintain and enhance internal controls/processes across the enterprise
- Identify accounting and reporting system needs, ensuring maintenance upgrades and improvements to IT software (ERP, Reporting Systems, Consolidation tools) are tested and validated appropriately. Liaise with IT department and business teams to ensure alignment exists between accounting, operations and IT.
- Assess current accounting operations and offer recommendations for continuous improvement projects, including leveraging/implementation of technology and automation tools for increase efficiency and enhance quality of information.
- Identify and lead initiatives to streamline and automate accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in the record to report cycle.
- Change agent, setting and advocating for a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience
- 5 years with direct management of the month-end close and/or consolidation processes
- CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification
- Strong knowledge of month-end close, reconciliation automation, and internal controls.
- Experience with financial close and consolidation systems and automation tools (i.e., TM1, BlackLine, Cadency, FloQast or similar platforms) is a plus
- Experience with ERP Systems (i.e., Oracle or similar)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products to include Excel, Word, Outlook
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including collaboration across levels
- Ability to work cross functionally to achieve desired results
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and risk management
- Proven success in leading process improvement and automation projects
