In addition, the Center developed Moriah Media to produce theatrical documentaries to educate global audiences. Moriah has produced 17 documentaries to date, two of which have received the Academy Award for best feature documentary, The Long Way Home and Genocide.
About the role:
The Museum of Tolerance is seeking an experienced logistics coordinator who can collaborate with Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Mobile Museum of Tolerance (MMOT) Team, the MMOT’s bus operator, and schools, libraries, and other locations the MMOT is set to visit to ensure smooth operations of the bus.

You are passionate about fighting against anti-Semitism, racism, and for promoting human rights and dignity. You are a self-motivated, creative, detail-oriented individual with excellent verbal and organizational skills and have a sincere commitment to the mission, goals, and ideals of the Simon Wiesenthal Center and non-profit work.
This position will report to the Associate Director, New York and is based in Florida.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the MMOT.
- Coordinate schedule of the MMOT alongside the MMOT team (MMOT Director and MMOT Educator).
- Communicate with schools and communities regarding booking, scheduling, parking location, and confirmation in advance of the MMOT’s arrival and post-visit thank you and survey information.
- Keep and update shared documents with the schedule of MMOT visits deadlines for corresponding paperwork.
- Contribute to the MMOT’s social media feeds.
- Keep the MMOT’s website updated, with input and coordination from the SWC Communications team in Los Angeles.
- Work with SWC in Los Angeles to research and update our digital media literacy and combatting hate classes.
- Send post MMOT visit thank you emails and surveys.
Experience and Skills:
- Reside in the Florida area.
- 3-5 years’ experience in logistics coordination.
- Deep understanding of computers, websites, and social media.
- Timely problem-solving skills to tackle emergencies, unintended delays, and/or changes in the schedule.
- Passion for fighting against anti-Semitism, racism, and for promoting human rights and dignity.
- Personality profile to fit into a safe, inclusive, open and collaborative culture that requires teamwork and significant interaction with employees at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment where you will get your hands into the details.
