About Me
I’m Bashir Chedrawee, a scientist-turned-entrepreneur. What began as a business for my mother, Simone, has evolved into a multi-location concept with a local buzz.
Now, we’re entering a new stage of growth, expanding beyond Simone’s Kitchen into new ventures, including an upcoming dessert shop and a pub-grub concept. As we build a hospitality group, I’m looking for an Administrative Assistant to work closely with me and help manage the many moving parts of a growing start-up.
About the Role
This is not your typical desk job.
As my Administrative Assistant, you’ll be an extension of me, supporting me in balancing structured office tasks with the fast-paced, hands-on demands of a growing business. Some days, you’ll be managing emails and organizing projects; other days, you’ll be out in the field, meeting with vendors, problem-solving in-store, or assisting with expansion efforts.
This role is for someone eager to learn, grow, and make an impact. You should be just as comfortable handling emails and scheduling as you are jumping in the car to visit a construction site or rolling up your sleeves to assist in store operations.
You’ll represent me and our company with professionalism, enthusiasm, and confidence, ensuring our vision and values come through in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing emails and correspondence
- Scheduling and organizing meetings
- Document proofreading and editing
- Supporting project tasks

- Knowledge of basic design and Canva
- Working on hands-on projects
- Assisting in normal, everyday restaurant operations
Skills & Requirements:
- Excellent research and organizational skills
- Effective communication; punctual and reliable
- Proficient in digital tools (Google Drive, Trello, Canva) and willing to learn new software
- Proactive in problem-solving; able to work independently
- High level of trust and integrity; must sign an NDA
