As a Facility Maintenance Coordinator, you will coordinate the maintenance and repair at all our SMI Facilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Creates & close work orders and purchase orders for repairs as they are completed.
  • Schedules internal FMT (Facility Maintenance Technician) as well as external.
  • Vendors/companies directly with sites to complete repairs in timely matter.
  • Adheres to Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines relative to department operations.
  • Willingness to be On Call on weekends occasionally.
  • Process and manage incoming work orders from onsite staff including Regional Managers.
  • Assign work orders to qualified vendors.
  • Follow up on work orders to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Review pricing and estimates to ensure that SimonMed Imaging is getting the best value for work.
  • Receive approval from upper management based off the 3-tier approval process prior to work being completed.
  • Document work being completed.
  • Interview vendors regularly and maintain relationships with existing vendors. Including finding new vendors.
  • Communicate with onsite staff on the approval process (if any) and with FMT.
  • Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.
  • Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • Computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Has an understanding of what Medical Imaging equipment
  • Knowledge of basic Facility Maintenance/repair
  • Experience in commercial property management
  • Has 1 to 2 years’ experience in service coordinating type roles is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
