This is an entry level Field Engineer role working on diagnostic imaging equipment. Looking for an individual with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge who is interested in “on the job training” to become a multi-modality field engineer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist and shadow other field engineers diagnosing problems and performing PM’s
- Attend in house training sessions with modality leaders
- Become competent on performing PM’s individually during first 60 days
- Self-motivated to learn new things without constant supervision
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed with some occasional domestic travel
- Clean driving record and access to a vehicle
- Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.
- Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Minimum 2 years of post-high school education with a focus on a technical degree
Experience:
- Good Communication and Strong customer service skills
- Able to operate a computer as well as job specific software
- Detail oriented and arrives to work on time every day
- Solid judgement and Strong decision making skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
DRESS ATTIRE: Business Casual or scrubs dependent on department
