What are the responsibilities and job description for the On Site Safety Manager position at Simple Safety Solutions?
MUST BE LOCAL TO NJ/PA
Job located in Rahway, NJ. Hours: 7am-3:30pm M-Friday, with possible overtime opportunities, weekend and night.
REQUIRMENTS
-Minimum of 8 years of experience as an on-site safety coordinator/representative
-Hold a valid OSHA 510
-Must have worked at Merck Rahway in Safety Manager position previoulsy
-Comfortable standing/walking for more than 5 hours per day
-Experience with reviewing/approving JHAs & HASPs
-Experience with completing/reviewing/approving permits
-Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
-Handle conflicts with a positive, team attitude
-Comfortable showing vaccination card and/or willing to participate in drug test if site requires

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

- Weekends as needed
