Description
The Production Manager will assist in providing direction and oversight of the company’s production operations. The role will effectively manage the development and direction of the production team to increase productivity as well as look for ways to develop and implement strategic improvements while ensuring quality standards are met.
Duties:
- Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day production to exceed our customers’ expectations.
- Be responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
- Monitor production and trigger corrective actions.
- Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts.
- Effectively manage team members and encourage continuous improvement while maintaining production goals.
- Effectively communicate production goals to all levels of the Simplex team and assist them in establishing department goals.
- Assist in adhering to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, and policies and procedures.
- Complete performance evaluations.

Requirements
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience, minimum 4 years, in a manufacturing or production environment, with proven supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing software along with quality assurance protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing, production processes, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication, team building, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Ability to handle high pressure and critical decision-making scenarios efficiently.
- Able to create accountability and lead by example with a proactive attitude and a focus on solutions.
- Computer skills include familiarity with Office, Excel, and ability to learn proprietary software quickly and accurately.
- Demonstrated organizational ability.
- Ability to work and communicate across various departments and positions within the organization.
- Must be able to communicate (read, write, and speak) the English language clearly.
Salary : $75,000
