FULL DESCRIPTION: Our client is currently recruiting a Sales Manager who will bring to the sales team talent, energy, and leadership skills to help build and grow the company business across the globe. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Builds and Manages Sales team.
- Overall responsibilities include growing the company's business, increasing its revenue and finding new business opportunities.
- Builds and oversees the sales team, and looks for new markets, spots new growth opportunities, and works to build the company's exposure and brand.
- Will constantly be on the lookout for new opportunities to expand the business and will be responsible for building and training the sales team as well as working with the senior leadership team to develop strategic plans to create new revenue generation opportunities.
- Establishes and Grows company isolation and purification kits adoption in personal and clinical genomic industry across the globe particularly on West Coast and Northeast of the US.
- Develops and manages assigned accounts strategically to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth as well as prospect new accounts and prepare information for all sales calls to secure new customers.
- Maintains and develops strategic partnerships with key customers and leverages previous contacts, when necessary, to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Develops the client relationship by understanding both short-term and long-term needs/goals for optimal positioning of company products.
- Collaborates with CEO and COO/VP in the assessment and prioritization of NGS market segment to ensure annual corporate revenue, growth and profitability goals are met and exceeded.
- Provides strategic leadership for defining the commercial path to growth and profitability of each product line and establish an effective process and infrastructure across the US.
- Reviews competitive data and demand analysis.
- Locates and grows a network of key opinion leaders in the personal genomic industry for obtaining user feedback for current and future products.
- Develops, implements, and refine the company's sales strategy across key market segments to ensure the company identifies and optimizes a clear path to aggressive growth.
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Master's degree in a Life Science field or bachelor's degree with relevant Life Sciences sales experience.
- An additional Business Administration degree is preferable.
- 5 years of prior sales experience required; preferably in life science
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets for at least 4 years is required.
- Applications experience within qPCR, NGS, and Infectious diseases Detection technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools and apply these skills consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisions.
- Maintains records and communications with customer base through CRM tool (such as SalesForce.com).
- Experience with product launch in Startup environment. * Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
- Available to travel up to 80%
Salary Range: $110k/yr plus commission
