FULL DESCRIPTION: The Accounting Manager works closely with Accounting and Real Estate Department. The Accounting Manager is responsible for budgetary information, handling multiple accounts and working in synchrony with Real Estate Department. Accounting tasks are not limited to but include preparing checks, creating budgets, calculating billing statements, preparing and submitting tax forms, coding documents, compiling financial records and managing inventory.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Engage in critical and confidential aspects of accounting
- Support Retail Operations with P&L analysis to establish ideal waste targets, financial controls and expense management practices.
- Assist in formulation of annual budgets.
- Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Accounting, developing budgets, legal compliance, ability to analyze financial data per company reports and budgets
- Capable of producing high quality materials within tight timeframes while handling multiple requests and working on different projects
- Ability to work with little or no direction and or supervision
- Team player with a creative problem solving approach and attention to detail is required
- Candidate must possess high quality analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Candidate must be highly skilled in QuickBooks, Excel and Access
- Knowledge of leases and construction liens is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field
- 3-5 years' experience in similar role within a retail or restaurant environment.
Salary Range: $40-$60/hr
