SIMPLY is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with a proven track record of success in leading e-commerce initiatives to join our fast growing team. The ideal candidate is an experienced e-commerce professional who has deep experience with Amazon, TikTok, and DTC channels and a proven track record of delivering growth. This role will be responsible for managing all of our online business and driving sales growth across our online platforms.
Role Description
The Ecommerce Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all of our ecommerce channels including Amazon, Tiktok, and our own Shopify site, developing and implementing strategies to drive sales, managing digital marketing campaigns, and optimizing the e-commerce platform for performance. The role will include the following responsibilities:
- Managing all of our product listings, including copy and images, as well as SEO
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive online traffic, improve conversion rates, and maximize ROI across various digital platforms.
- Responsible for reporting and measuring performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Testing and improving our digital advertising strategies through detailed tracking, analyzing, and reporting
- Manage budget allocation and resource planning for digital marketing initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve desired outcomes.
- Optimize content on our ecommerce platforms and provide creative direction to our graphic team to ensure the delivery of compelling visuals that align with brand objectives.
- Monitor competitive strategies and Identify new opportunities, tools, and methods to maintain a competitive edge.
- Analyze performance metrics to refine strategies, product offerings, and customer engagement.
- You’ll own, analyze, and communicate customer, campaign, ads, and sales behavior, turning data into actionable insights to increase sales
Skills Required
- 3 – 5 years of experience managing an Amazon sales channel or as an account lead on an Amazon business
- Deep Amazon expertise
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to keep up with eCommerce trends within retail and marketplaces and love being the resident expert
- Someone who is proactive, highly organized, and obsessed with the details
- Highly motivated self starter
- Hands on experience in digital marketing; experience building campaigns yourself
- Expert knowledge of various ad platforms, including Amazon, TikTok, Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Pinterest, LinkedIn, X (Twitter)
