Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should be:
- A board-certified/eligible emergency medicine physician
- Comfortable managing a broad spectrum of cases with limited specialist support
Flexible Scheduling
Our flexible scheduling accommodates personal and family emergencies, with:
- 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- 14-hour night shifts from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Deliver emergency care in a rural setting, managing diverse cases an hour from a Level 1 trauma center
- Collaborate with specialists in pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, orthopedics, general surgery, neurology, PM&R, ENT, and ophthalmology
- Treat an average patient volume of 600 per month across five providers, averaging 140 hours
